《I can play table tennis》教学设计

教学内容: I can play  table tennis(三年级英语)

 

一、教学目标:

 

1.   学习有关乒乓运动的单词:table tennis, paddle, table tennis table, netchop, push, drive, smash, serve.

 

2.    能在活动中学会运用语言:I can Can you? Yes, I can./ No, I cant. 

 

3.    能用简单的语言介绍乒乓球运动。

 

二、教学重难点:

 

1.   学习有关乒乓运动的单词:table tennis, paddle, table tennis table, netchop, push, drive, smash, serve.

 

2.  能在活动中学会运用语言:I can Can you? Yes, I can./ No, I cant. 

 

3.  能用简单的语言介绍乒乓球运动。

 

三、教学准备: PPT, 人手一个乒乓球、乒乓球拍,单词卡片

 

四、教学过程:

 

I.Pre-reading

 

1.     Free talk

 

Whats this/that?

 

Is this/that your?

 

Wheres the/your?

 

2.    Know the ping-pang ball.

 

A guessing game.

 

Whats this?

 

Ss: Is this a?

 

Teach: table tennis                /ping-pong ball

 

II. While-reading

 

1.Know the table tennis.

 

What colour is your table tennis?

 

Show your table tennis.

T: Most of your table tennis are orange or white. Do you why?

 

(小常识:根据国际乒联的规定,比赛使用的乒乓球主要有橙色和白色两种颜色,这两种颜色乒乓球的使用与球台的组合不受限制,可自由组合。近年来的国际、国内比赛,大多选用白色球。)

 

2. Know more about ping-pong sport.

 

T:  Table tennis is our school sport. We should also know more about ping -pong sport.

 

Learn the new words.

T: Each student has a ping-pong ball and a paddle in our class. Where are they? Lets talk . Four in groups, talk with these sentences.

3. Know a player.

 

 T: There are many ping-pong champions in China. Which champion do you know? Whos she? (Zhang Yining)

 

Watch a video.

 

Lets watch a video about her.  What do you think of Zhang Yining?Great! How nice! Wonderful! Lets say: Zhang Yining, you are!

 

Learn the new words.

 

 T: In the match, Zhang Yining is so cool. She can play table tenis very well.  Look, she can

 

 serve ,chop,   push,  drive,  smash

 

III.Post-reading .

 

1.   Lets play table tennis.

 

T: Good job. Its time to play table tennis. Let ask you r partners to play together.

B: Hi, Im

 

A: Do you like table tennis?

 

B: Yes, I do./No, I dont.

 

A: Lets play table tennis.

 

B: OK.

 

A: Look, I can Can you?

 

B: Yes, I can. /No, I cant.

 

A: Great! /How nice! /Wonderful!

 

2.    Ss do ping-pong exercise.
